Marford and Gresford Velo Club

In 2011 a group of local riders banded together to form the Marford and Gresford Velo Club.

After a few small group rides form Alfs on a sunday morning, the guys found that the group was getting larger with the rides becoming longer and more structured.

With an ever growing number of members, an affiliation with ourselves and a bespoke club kit, things are going from strength to strength.

The whole ethos of the group is one of recreational riding with a non competitive attitude - the whole deal being that rides are based around fun, fitness and enjoyment. Rides usually cover between 40-50 miles at a reasonable pace with normally one or two cafe stops.

The informal nature of the group enables anyone to turn up and ride from the shop.
