The Castelli Mid Winter 18 Socks are, as the name suggests, a little bit lighter than your typical deep winter socks. Constructed from a warm, breathable merino wool blend, with a long cuff, they're nonetheless constructed more like a summer sock for a close fit inside the shoe. Wear them when it's cold but not freezing out and you're planning to work your hardest.
