WHAT IS THE CYCLE TO WORK SCHEME?
Cycle To Work is a government scheme designed to encourage employees to cycle to work by allowing you to buy a bike (and cycling safety equipment) tax-free.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Your employer can offer the scheme to you simply by registering with a scheme administrator, such as those listed.
Under the scheme, the employer effectively buys the equipment from us, and rents it to you over 12 or 18 months.
You repay your employer via monthly deductions in gross salary, plus a small final payment to make the equipment your own. This saves you money by reducing the amount of income which is subject to income tax and NI contributions.
Your chosen Cycle to Work scheme issues you with a voucher to use against the purchase of your bike. New Government guidelines recently introduced mean that you can now apply for over £1000 and can also select an E-bike option (**dependent on your employers cycle to work agreement)
Employers benefit too – both through reduced employer NI contributions, and offering an attractive benefit to their employees.
HOW MUCH COULD I SAVE?
Savings of up to 42% are achievable for some employees paying higher rate income tax. However, savings vary for different employers, scheme administrators, and equipment values. Please give us a call on 01978 854300 to discuss your individual circumstances.

Important - Please Read Before Placing Cycle to Work Order
Please ensure you include all charges in the voucher value requested from your employer, including any surcharges or delivery charges that are applicable and request a voucher type that can be used at any retailer where possible.
Your order will not be dispatched until payment of all fees has been made, and we are unable to refund any part of the voucher value that is not utilised.
We can take a deposit (fully refundable) to reserve your chosen bike if you are yet to obtain a Cycle to Work voucher. Please contact us directly to arrange and we will respond within 24 hours (Mon-Sat).
SALE and Discounted items
We allow the purchase of sale items via the Cycle to Work scheme however, please note, we apply a minimum 10% surcharge on all sale items purchased through the scheme unless otherwise stated below:
- My Benefits World - 0% surcharge
- Green commute initiative - 5% surcharge
- Halfords Cycle2work - 15% surcharge
Please ensure you include any surcharges in the value of your voucher. We are unable to dispatch any order without all fees paid. We will contact you when we process your order to take payment of such fees. Please contact the store directly via email or phone so we can provide you with the final cost for your chosen bike. We can take a deposit (fully refundable) to reserve your chosen bike if you are yet to obtain a Cycle to Work voucher.
