Alf Jones opened the doors of his Wrexham bike shop in 1955, to share his passion for cycling and provide first class personal service to every one of his customers. Almost 60 years later, Alf’s grandson Andy runs the business with these same values. At Alf Jones Cycles, we believe in the value of traditional, personal service, and pride ourselves on getting to know our customers to understand their needs properly.
And while we’re proud of our heritage, we’re also passionate about the latest developments in the world of cycling. The bikes we stock showcase the leading design and engineering from the best manufacturers – from featherweight carbon road bikes or full suspension mountain bikes, through to efficient commuter bikes and great bikes for kids. Our mechanics will keep you on the road all year round, while our Bike Fit services can help you ride more efficiently and more comfortably for longer.
All of our team members are avid cyclists from multi genres with an extensive knowledge of the sport, so whether you’re an experienced cyclist, or just starting out, we are here to help you get as much enjoyment as possible from every minute you spend on your bike.

Why not pop by and relax in our café, whether you need a latte break whilst shopping for bikes, plan to meet some cycling friends for a catch up, or just fancy a mid-ride tea and cake stop, Alf Jones Cycles café is the place to come! We have a fabulous Barista’s coffee machine serving fresh local Welsh Dwyfor coffees, teas, hot chocolates, cold drinks and a range of cakes and snacks. Local bike club info, cycling magazines & books and top bike chat are also available! Stop by on your next visit.
