That's where the Surly Troll comes in.Originally designed as a mountain bike frame with touring features, the Troll has now evolved into a dedicated off-road touring frame. Its geometry is no longer suspension corrected, providing more space for a larger frame bag. The frame is equipped with Gnot-Boost spacing, allowing you to use any mountain bike hub - whether it's a 135mm QR, 12 x 142mm thru-axle, or 12 x 148mm Boost hub. The chainstay yoke has been redesigned to accommodate 26+ tires and the frame comes with the comfortable Jones Loop bar. The dropouts allow you to run disc brakes, fenders, a Rohloff hub, and racks simultaneously. In addition, the Troll is equipped with numerous braze-ons for added versatility, including four triple bottle mounts on the fork and two more triple bottle mounts on the down tube.The Surly Troll is designed to take you as far away from civilization as possible.
